Essity (formerly SCA Group) has established Tork Paper Circle, a unique recycling service at its Lilla Edet facility in Sweden. It is the world's first customer toilet paper recycling service to collect waste toilet paper from the toilet to the factory.

Now launched in Sweden, the Lilla Edet factory offers a targeted service aimed at solving the problem faced by the disposal of used toilet paper. Essity has already launched the service in the Netherlands and Germany, and will roll it out in the UK. The production cycle was achieved by setting up a system with an equipment company to collect toilet paper from waste cartons, transport it to the factory, and then recycle it.
